      Will it clear ice off my windshield?

      No — and we want to be upfront about that. DEWBYE works on the inside of your car. It pulls moisture out of the cabin air, which is what causes fog and frost on the inside of the glass. Ice and snow on the outside still need a scraper or a cover.

      How does it work?

      The bag is filled with silica gel beads that soak up moisture from the air. Leave it on the dashboard or under a seat overnight and it keeps pulling damp out of the cabin while the car sits.

      How do I know when it’s full?

      Look at the dot. Blue means it’s dry and working. Pink means it’s full and ready to recharge.

      How do I recharge it?

      Put it in the microwave following the instructions on the bag, let it cool down, and the dot turns blue again. Then it goes straight back in the car — no refills to buy.

      How many do I need?

      One bag is enough for most cars. For SUVs, vans, RVs or cars that get really damp, use two — one in the front and one in the back.
